Two Prenatal Visits: Each visit will be 60-90 minutes long. The first visit will take place at the beginning of our time together, allowing us to establish a connection as part of your prenatal support. The second appointment focuses on educational purposes, including labor coaching techniques you’d like to utilize during labor, as well as recommendations for books, podcasts, and more. During this session, we will review a birth preference sheet, address any questions you may have, and help you work through any fears. Additionally, we can assist in referring you to services for massages, acupuncture, and postpartum support.
Starting at 38 weeks pregnant, we are on call for you 24/7 until birth, providing essential labor coaching through text, phone, or video support. We offer guidance on comfort techniques and provide suggestions for your support person to help you during labor. Additionally, we assist you in advocating for your needs, ensuring the staff gives you the time to make informed decisions. Our support continues post-birth with postpartum support to help you transition smoothly.
Encourage confidence during labor coaching, and help the birthing person process what they experienced. Provide postpartum support by assisting with getting comfortable, whether it's adjusting pillows, blankets, the bed, or the room. If desired, help with family photos and encourage you to ask questions to the staff about your newborn or self-care. We typically stay with you for 60-90 minutes during the immediate postpartum process, with a minimum of 30 minutes.
I will need the birth person and their support person to sign Client Confidentiality Release Forms. Why? Because I am a trained doula working towards my certification, and these birth hours only count if I have the proper paperwork signed. The information shared will only be shared with DONA International, ensuring that my labor coaching and postpartum support are provided with the utmost confidentiality, alongside the necessary prenatal support.
As I work towards my certification, I am excited to offer my services at a discounted rate of $250! Typically, doulas range from $800 to $1,800, providing essential support during labor coaching, prenatal support, and postpartum support. Please be aware that we do not medically intervene. Additionally, if we recommend trying something, we may ask you to check with your OB/GYN or Midwife.

At Moon & Mother Doula Care, we believe that pregnancy is a natural and beautiful experience that should be embraced with joy and excitement. We strive to provide holistic care, including prenatal support, labor coaching, and postpartum support, that nurtures the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our clients!
